Rebecca Rathbun Violin
A native of Austin, Texas, Rebecca has earned a B. M. degree from University of North Texas as a student of James Lerch, and a M. M. degree from Indiana University as a student of the late Josef Gingold.  Rebecca has maintained a very active performance/ teaching schedule. From 1977 to 1985 Rebecca performed as a full-time member of the Fort Worth Symphony/Chamber Orchestras and taught violin in the Fort Worth Youth Orchestra Suzuki program at Orchestra Hall. 
For the past twenty years, her free - lance schedule has included numerous performances with Fort Worth Symphony, Dallas Symphony Orchestra (including the 2003 DSO European tour), Dallas Opera and Casa Manana Musicals. Rebecca is also currently teaching Suzuki strings at Covenant Christian Academy in Colleyville, Texas.


Kristin Van Cleve - Violin
Kristin Van Cleve began playing the violin while growing up in Fairbanks, Alaska and later received her Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from the University of North Texas. Kristin Van Cleve is Principal Second Violin with the Dallas Opera Orchestra and is Artistic Director of the historical performance ensemble, Texas Camerata.


Kristen Swanson - Viola
Kristen Swanson, violist and composer, is a graduate of the prestigious Cleveland Institute of Music.  Currently, she is principal Viola of the Texas Chamber Orchestra, the Dallas Summer Musicals, performs with the Dallas Opera Orchestra and groups including Voices of Change, Texas Winds Musical Outreach, Fort Worth Symphony, and Music in The Mountains Festival in Durango, Colorado.  In addition to being a versatile freelancer and chamber Musician, she has also participated in the National T ours of productions such as Phantom of the Opera, ('00, '04) and the Lion King ('02) .


Carol Harlos - Violoncello
Carol Higa Harlos was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. She received degrees from Indiana University, the University of Western Ontario, and the University of Toronto. Her principal teachers were Fritz Magg, Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi, and Vladmir Orlov. She has participated in the Banff and Sarasota summer chamber music festivals. She has played with the Honolulu Symphony and was assistant principal with the Colorado Philharmonic, and currently plays with the Fort Worth Symphony and Texas Chamber Orchestra. She has played chamber music concerts with Duo Renard and with faculty members of College of Music at the University of North Texas, including her husband, pianist Steven Harlos.
