Amateurs Program (June 22 – July 1)


Performers

1. Completed application form and a nonrefundable $75 application fee.

2. Good quality recording of one or more pieces of contrasting style, solo and/or concerto. Portions of works may be used, e.g. one movement of a sonata. The most preferred form of recording is DVD. Otherwise, CDs are also accaptable. Please do not send original recordings. PianoTexas is not responsible for returning any of the recordings.

3. Optional - List your choice of chamber music piece: one or two movements not exceeding a total of 18 minutes.

4. Repertoire you wish to play in the master class.

5. Biography and hobbies.


Active and General Observers

1. Completed application form and a nonrefundable $40 application fee.

2. List of repertoire you have been studying during the last two years (for Active Observers only).




Amateurs Special Mini Session: (May 24 - June 4)

1. Completed application form and a nonrefundable $75 application fee.

2. Good quality recording of one or more pieces of your choice, either solo or concerto. Portions of works may be used, e.g. one movement of a sonata. Recordings may be in the form of DVD, CD or videotape (both American NTSC and European PAL systems are acceptable). DVD format is the most preferred. Please do not send original copies. PianoTexas is not responsible for returning any of the recordings. Note: Amateurs who have been accepted into the Cliburn Foundation's 2007 International Piano Competition for Outstanding Amateurs are not required to send in any audition recordings.
