Teachers and Amateurs Program Application

 

 

 

Application Deadlines:

  • Performers: February 18, 2013, online and postmarked (worldwide)
  • All tuition and accommodation payments must be completed by March 11, 2013
  • Tickets for the final round (June 6 – 9) must be purchased through the Cliburn Competition Website. These tickets should be purchased as early as possible due to the fact that they sell out quickly. Because of this, PianoTexas cannot guarantee that these tickets will be available.

 

Performers:

 

Performers should submit an on-line application. All files will be uploaded during time of application. Before starting application, prepare the following:

 

     1. Application fee: $80 (payable by credit or debit card)

          -Application fee is non-refundable and will not be used toward the cost of tuition or housing.

          -After completing the online application, proceed to the payment form to pay your application fee.

     2. Biography

          -Updated biography in English prose describing past music experience.

     3. High-resolution publicity photo

          -jpg, eps, tiff or psd (at a resolution of at least 300 dpi).

     4. List of Repertoire you will play in master class

     5. Audition Recording (mailed to the address below.)

          -Good quality video or recording of one or more pieces of contrasting style (solo and/or concerto).

          -Portions of works may be used (e.g. one movement of a sonata).

          -Your disc must be in its own jewel case or protective sleeve.

          -Please do not send the original copy. PianoTexas is not responsible for returning any recording.

 

 

Your Application is not complete until all materials are received

 

Active and General Observers:

          -Application fee is non-refundable and will not be used toward the cost of tuition or housing.

          -After completing the online application, proceed to the payment form to pay your application fee.
     2. For those applying as Active Observers, a list of repertoire studied during the past two years.
