Application Procedures for Performers:

All applications must be completed online.

Before starting application, prepare the following:

1. Application fee: $100 (payable by credit or debit card)

- Application fee is nonrefundable and will not be used toward the costs of tuition or

2. Recording (both video and audio recordings are acceptable): upload online

- Good quality recording is strongly advised. Independent selection jury will decide on
the invitation offered to performers.

-The recording should contain two pieces. Portions of works may be used for example one movement of a sonata.

3. Biography:

- Updated biography in full sentences (please do not use bullet format) include education, profession, musical experiences and hobbies.

4. High-resolution photo: upload online

- jpg, eps, tiff or psd (at a resolution of at least 300 dpi).

5. List of Repertoire


Chamber Music:

Amateur Performers are invited, where possible, to pre-establish piano duos and two-piano partnerships with fellow participants.
Violin and cello sonatas will also be performed, in partnership with PianoTexas instrumentalists. Teacher Performers should submit repertoire preferences of maximum duration 18 minutes—typically a single movement, or combination of shorter movements. For programming purposes, the Executive Director will select the repertoire to be performed, and his decision is final.

Master Class:

Submit a minimum of two works, if possible one of these should be by Ludwig van Beethoven or Frédéric Chopin. The Executive Director will select from your submitted list the repertoire for the master class.

Festival Concerts:

Submit repertoire to perform in the recitals presented by the Festival. Pieces submitted for master classes may be used for these recitals. However, the repertoire for these recitals should not exceed 12 minutes each.
