Teachers & Amateurs Program Application

Application Deadline for all programs: Monday, February 20, 2017

 

 

Application Procedures for Performers:

All applications must be completed online.
 
Before starting application, prepare the following:
 
1. Application fee: $100 (payable by credit or debit card)
 
- Application fee is nonrefundable and will not be used toward the costs of   tuition or accommodation.
 
2. Recording (both video and audio recordings are acceptable): 
 
- Upload online
- Good quality recording is strongly advised.
- The recording should contain one or two pieces of contrasting styles (both solo and/or concerto repertoire are acceptable).
- Portions of works may be used (e.g. one movement of a sonata)
 
3. Biography:
 
- Updated biography in full sentences (please do not use bullet format) include education, profession, musical experiences and hobbies.
4. High-resolution photo: upload online
 - jpg, eps, tiff or psd (at a resolution of at least 300 dpi).
 
5a. Repertoire for master classes:
- Provide two works from which the Executive Director will select for your master class.  Concerto repertoire is allowed for the master  class,
 
5b. Repertoire for recitals:
- Submit at least two works (including movements of larger works) that you are ready to perform in the recitals presented during the Festival.
Works submitted for master classes may be used for these recitals. However, each work for these recitals should not exceed 12-15 minutes.

Application fee: $75 (payable by credit or debit card)
-Application fee is non-refundable and will not be used toward the cost of tuition or accommodation.
